Clyde Duensing III grew up in the small town of Flagler Beach, Florida, two blocks from the beach. In spite of this seemingly wholesome environment, a steady diet of classic science fiction novels, B monster movies and horror comics unhinged his mind and instilled in him a lifelong love of art, books, film and monsters.
Clyde has worked as a designer and art director in the print and sportswear industries, while maintaining a freelance career in illustration, gaming, TV, and film. He is skilled in traditional and computer illustration, 3D modeling and animation, and motion graphics and compositing. His credits include cover and interior illustration work for Dragon, and Aboriginal Science Fiction magazines, box cover illustrations for Vivendi Universal games, and animation and motion graphics for Merck & Co., Inc. Clyde has produced 3D models for games such as Hellgate: London, for the Discovery Channel, and for film, including texture work on a digital set extension for Catwoman.
Clyde has recently embarked on a new phase in his career, one dedicated entirely to digital illustration, 3D animation, games, visual effects and film.
Oh, yeah, and monsters.
